Creamed Honey 101

Creamed honey is 100% honey, but in a smooth and creamy texture. It is a form of crystallized honey, but unlike the crystallized honey you might be familiar with, creamed honey has smooth micro-crystals that give it its signature texture. When typical liquid honey crystallizes, it does so with large, jagged crystals, which gives the honey a coarse and crunchy texture. FYI - Liquid honey that has crystallized is still perfectly good to consume. The crystallization of honey is a normal and natural process.

Creamed honey will keep its consistency as long as it is not heated and can be kept in your pantry or refrigerator. When refrigerated, you may want to bring it to room temperature for ease of use.
